SIU is a fully recognized higher institute of technology authorized by the Ministry of Higher Education (MINESUP) in Cameroon through order number 23-07470/L/MINESUP/SG/DDES/ESUP/SDA/NMB. This official recognition underscores the quality and rigor of our academic programs and ensures that your degree will be respected by employers and other institutions around the world.

SIU is placed under the academic mentorship of the University of Buea which is the most recognized Anglo-Saxon university in the central Africa Sub-region. This means that our students are eligible for opportunities and further studies where English is a minimum requirement.
